– [Interviewer] Okay, we
are here with Shania Twain, who just added dates
to her Vegas residency. What has Vegas been like for you? How is it different from other
live shows that you’ve done? – Well there’s a great
luxury and privilege of playing Las Vegas,
especially in a residency, because you’re getting
the best technology, the best lighting, the best sound, the consistency and the community. I’m getting to know the community better, I’m making more friends there
among the other artists, I mean because everybody
goes through Las Vegas so of course, it’s my happy place. – [Interviewer] So many other artists have actually done Vegas
residencies lately, it’s been sort of a trend
in the past year especially. Have you caught any others? – Oh yes, I catch as many
residency artists as I can, if they’re there at the same time as me. I’ve seen Lady Gaga, I’ve seen
everyone at Zappos Theater, Britney and The Backstreet Boys. I mean, the list is long. Honestly, I see a show… you need at least a month in Vegas to really catch up on everything that’s the latest on the stages. – [Interviewer] I totally agree and I have to ask, Halsey’s video for “You Should Be Sad” channeled
some of your iconic looks. What was your reaction
when you first saw that? – I was so flattered. I’m like okay, this is very
reminiscent first of all. So it made me all warm and fuzzy and I was just very flattered and excited to know that I’m on the minds of the young artists coming up who appreciated what I was
doing at the time with fashion and being beautiful and sexy
without compromising integrity, which is what I really stood for. So I’m glad that she embraced it, it was just flattering. – [Interviewer] Well,
it’s such a fun video. Have so much fun tonight and thank you. – Thank you.
